A standalone hotel lock with reader, control electronics and mechanical locking structure operating together on the door with battery power.

Fire Door Applications

Suitability for a fire-rated door depends on the certified doorset as a whole, including door, lock, hardware and installation. Fosil Kilit recommends a product for fire-door use only within the verified test/certification scope of the selected model. No fire-resistance duration or standard is claimed until the relevant product documentation is verified.

Batteryless DND-Integrated Hotel Lock System

A fixed-power room access architecture where reader and control electronics are separated from the door lock and access is handled through the DND panel and door-frame mechanism.

No battery inside the door lock
Card reader and control electronics in the DND panel
Push-to-open door mechanism
Locking/unlocking completed through the door-frame-side mechanism
Fixed power eliminates periodic door-lock battery replacement

How does it work?

01Guest presents the card to the DND-panel reader.
02Control circuit evaluates access authorization.
03When authorized, an opening command is sent to the door-frame mechanism.
04Guest enters through the push-to-open mechanism.

Fire-resistance and electromechanical performance of selected electronic hotel-lock models are supported by independent laboratory test and assessment documents.

EN 14846 classification: The documented S60 models are reported as Grade D for suitability on fire doors, indicating suitability for fire-door assemblies with a minimum classification time of 60 minutes.
